Raise the Praise is a ministry focused on equipping and encouraging youth between the ages of 12 and 19 in eastern North Carolina. Through biblical teachings and Christian principles in collaboration with amazing concerts and creative media, Raise the Praise offers more than an experience. As a ministry we find that it's important to help people break down walls they've built within themselves that harden their heart to what the Lord may be trying to unveil in their lives. Therefore, we apply the lights, the smoke, the projectors, the videos, the amplifiers and the distortion so that we don't come across as just another typical "church revival". The "more than" comes when you get past the experience of the show. It comes in an encounter with God that can only be met when those walls are no longer built around the heart.
Raise the Praise presents an opportunity that some youth may never otherwise become a part of. We believe that many smaller youth groups, while purposeful, don't have the resources or time available to commit to pouring as much into this generation as they're ready to learn. Not only does Raise the Praise offer these events, but as a ministry devoted to dedication and commitment, new ideas are getting added so that there can be follow-up to the events in the forms of studies and small groups for the purpose of allowing the faith of these, to become their own.

Raise the Praise is the live production ministry team for Straight and Narrow Ministries. The ministry team is accountable to the Director of Straight and Narrow Ministries, who in turn answers to the ministry's Board of Directors for guidance and accountability.
